This Fair Trade and Organic* lot comes from CODECH, a cooperative of smallholder Indigenous farmers in Concepción Huista, Huehuetenango. The region is known for high altitudes, clean water, and traditional varieties that deliver some of Guatemala’s most beloved cup profiles.
CODECH has been investing in sustainable farming and community development since 1998, with a focus on organic production, farmer training, and women’s leadership across its 10 member groups.
In the cup, expect butterscotch, chocolate raisin, nougat, and sticky bun—a sweet, comforting Huehue profile with classic structure and excellent balance.
*NOTE: Since our roasting facility isn’t certified Fair Trade or Organic, we can’t label the coffee as such, even though the farm we source it from is certified.
